Welcome to English Tenses Made Simple. Often I talk about how grammar is not as important as many other aspects of communicating in English. And I still agree with this. However, I get so many questions about tenses in English. How do you make the different tenses correctly and when do you use them? I guess the reason is that you learn these tenses at school, and that was a long time ago maybe, and now you're not quite sure if you're using the right tense in the right place. I thought I would make you this course with very specific and focused points on what you need to know about the tenses and which tenses you need to know so that you can feel more confident and more sure of yourself when you are speaking English.

We're not going to go into every tense; it really is the ones that you need. And I am going to show you why those are the ones you need. To get the most out of this course, I recommend you watch the videos, you do the practice, and you take notes of which are the mistakes that you make you have been making, and then you write yourself a little post-it or something that you can put somewhere where you need to remember it with the key points of the tense that you need to improve.

This is the best way to work on something in English. If you need to improve in every tense, start with one, and when you feel better about that, go on to the next one. Don't try to do everything at once. I hope you enjoy this course, and at the end of it, you should feel really confident that you are using the right tense whenever you speak English.
